The Palo Alto Networks PA-5020 is a 2U enterprise datacenter firewall delivering 5 Gbps of firewall throughput, 2 Gbps of threat prevention throughput, and 2 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput. Providing twelve Gigabit Ethernet copper ports and eight 1GbE SFP optical slots with redundant power supplies, the PA-5020 was a primary datacenter boundary firewall for large corporate networks. In secondary equipment channels, the PA-5020 remains an affordable training and sparing platform.
