About the E810XXVDA2

E810XXVDA2 is Intel's dual-port 10/25GbE SFP28 PCI Express 4.0 x8 network adapter in the Ethernet Network Adapter E810 series (Columbiaville). Equipped with Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP), Application Device Queues (ADQ), and concurrent RoCEv2 and iWARP RDMA support, it delivers low latency and high packet rates for virtualized cloud data centers, NFV workloads, and enterprise storage networks.

Compatibility

Compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 x8 or x16 slots across Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem, and Supermicro servers. Features two SFP28 cages supporting 25GbE and 10GbE optical transceivers or DAC cables. Supported in Linux via the in-tree ice driver and irdma RDMA driver. It does not fit OCP 3.0 mezzanine slots.

How to identify a genuine unit

A genuine Intel card features an Intel branded heatsink, green or blue PCB, and a white barcode label displaying model E810XXVDA2 and Intel Yottamark hologram. In Linux, lspci identifies the Intel Ethernet Controller E810-XXV for SFP with device ID 1593.

Buying used

Check the NVM firmware version using Intel nvmupdate tool and verify that both SFP28 ports establish clean link sync. Inspect the PCIe edge contacts for scratches and ensure the card includes the correct full-height or low-profile bracket for your server chassis.
