The Lenovo 7Y37A01087 is an external 8-port 12Gb SAS/SATA RAID controller designed to attach external high-density JBOD disk expansion shelves to Lenovo ThinkSystem servers. Based on the Broadcom SAS3516 ROC with 4GB flash-backed cache, it manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 disk volumes across external arrays such as the Lenovo Storage D1212 and D1224.

Compatibility

Compatible across Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650, SR630, SR850, and ST550 servers equipped with standard PCIe slots. It features two external Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8644) connectors located on the rear bracket.
