Lenovo ThinkSystem DM7000H
The ThinkSystem DM7000H is an enterprise modular hybrid storage array powered by Lenovo ONTAP, based on OEM NetApp FAS8200 architecture. Designed for large-scale enterprise consolidation, mission-critical databases, and multi-tenant cloud infrastructure, it features a 3U dedicated dual-controller enclosure with 256GB of system memory and 16GB NVRAM. Because the controller unit does not hold internal drives, all capacity connects via external SAS expansion shelves, scaling up to 480 drives. Used equipment buyers should inspect ONTAP cluster licenses, confirm PCIe host adapter configurations (32Gb FC, 10GbE, 40GbE), and ensure NVRAM battery backup packs pass diagnostic charge cycles.
