About the 325-BCHJ
The Dell 325-BCHJ is a Dell PowerEdge 2U Security Bezel with Key Lock (Non-LCD) engineered to protect and secure the front drive bays of Dell PowerEdge servers. Constructed with an attractive honeycomb ventilation pattern and key-lock mechanism, the 325-BCHJ prevents unauthorized drive removal while allowing unimpeded cooling airflow to reach internal server components.
Compatibility
Designed specifically for Dell PowerEdge R740, R740XD, R750, R760 servers, the 325-BCHJ clips securely into the front chassis ears. The 325-BCHJ is engineered to clear front drive caddies, status indicators, and control buttons without physical interference during normal operation.
How to identify a genuine unit
Genuine Dell bezels feature an embossed Dell logo, DP/N 08N2XW molded into the rear plastic frame, and a physical key-lock cylinder. Versions of the 325-BCHJ with LCD displays include integrated ribbon cables and connection pins to interface with chassis diagnostic headers.
Buying used
When evaluating a pre-owned 325-BCHJ, confirm that the front latching tabs and locking mechanism are undamaged and that the physical key is included. Inspect the front honeycomb mesh on the 325-BCHJ for cracks or structural warping, and verify that LCD displays or LED light pipes operate properly.
