Installed directly into the controller canister, it delivers high-throughput enterprise SAN fabric connectivity for database clustering, hypervisor data stores, and mission-critical block storage. It supports optical speeds of 16Gbps and 32Gbps depending on the transceivers used.

Compatibility

Compatible exclusively with ThinkSystem DE2000H, DE4000H, DE4200H, DE6400H, and DE6600H storage arrays. It features four SFP28/SFP+ optical cages supporting short-wave (SW) optical transceivers for attachment to Fibre Channel SAN switches (such as Lenovo DB610S, DB630S, and DB730S). It is proprietary to DE canisters and cannot be installed in standard servers.
