The Cisco DS-SFP-FC16G-SW delivers 16-Gbps Fibre Channel shortwave optical connectivity for Cisco MDS 9000 Series multilayer directors and fabric switches. Transmitting at 850nm over multimode optical cabling, it reaches up to 125 meters on OM4 and 100 meters on OM3 cabling.
