The Fortinet FN-TRAN-QSFP28-SR4 optical transceiver delivers ultra high throughput 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for hyperscale data center firewalls and high performance security fabrics. Operating across four parallel 25Gbps optical channels at 850 nanometers on multimode fibre, it provides massive throughput with low latency.

Compatibility

Compatible with Fortinet FortiGate 1800F, 2600F, 3400E, 3600E, 4200F, 4400F, 4800F, 6000F, and 7000E firewalls equipped with QSFP28 ports. It requires host Forward Error Correction (RS-FEC) enabled on switch ports to ensure IEEE 802.3bm signal integrity standards under FortiOS.
