The Arista 7508R is an 8-slot modular datacenter chassis switch combining deep packet buffering, high-density 100GbE switching, and carrier routing scale. Occupying 13U of rack space, the 7508R provides up to 768GB of packet buffering, eight line card payload slots supporting up to 4.8 Tbps per slot, and up to 38.4 Tbps of system switching bandwidth for hyperscale cloud datacenters and internet exchange backbones.
